American Traffic Solutions and Driving MBA team up to promote safe driving practices

American Traffic Solutions and DrivingMBA – two organizations dedicated to driver safety – have combined their resources to provide high schools with driver education materials that speak directly to teen drivers about intersection safety and the dangerous consequences of red-light running.

Red-light running collisions pose the greatest risk of injury and death for motorists, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Ten percent of red-light runners involved in fatal crashes in 2009 were teenagers.

Additionally, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that mile for mile, teenagers are involved in three times as many fatal crashes as all other drivers.

With the help of DrivingMBA, a driver-training and education provider, ATS has made handouts and a PowerPoint presentation freely available to high schools. The intent is to provide assistance in informing and training young drivers in safe driving habits.

See the links below to view the driver education presentation, an informational flier and useful videos.
